Upcoming Closure of Tracyton Boulevard NW

ORCHARD, WA—Tracyton Boulevard NW will close September 2nd, 2008 for 40
working days to allow Mid Puget Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group begin work
on a major project replacing the 90-foot long, 5-foot diameter culvert that
runs under the road there. It is being replaced with a 73-foot long, 36-foot
wide arched bottomless culvert to enhance fish passage on Barker Creek.
The road will be closed about 150 feet South of Barker Creek Road. The road
closes next Tuesday (September 2nd) and remains closed through October 28.
The work is a private project funded by Mid Puget Sound Fisheries
Enhancement Group and is being constructed by McDonald & Company, Inc. from
Enumclaw, WA.
